Ani is a producer and co-founder at Learn the Dish. A self-identifying business-starting addict, Ani made her forret in 2018 with her first company The New Builds, a real estate technology company.
A first generation Armenian in Canada, Ani’s father was born in Aleppo and her mother in Beirut. Both came to Canada during the 70s and 80s, tracing their roots back to Orfa and Keyseri, Turkey, prior to 1900. Ani was born in Toronto.
Much of the idea for Learn the Dish came from Ani’s interaction with the Armenian community in Toronto. Her time with the AGBU Young Professionals Toronto chapter inspired her to work towards preserving her shared heritage and stories for future generations.
