Taline and her family are from Sivas, Turkey. She moved to Istanbul in 1954 where she studied to become a teacher. Taline lived in Istanbul until the 80’s when she immigrated to Canada, where she worked as an art teacher in Toronto.
Today Taline is retired but continues to spend time volunteering. For the last 22 years she’s volunteered with Himnadram, a global organization which develops programs and projects supporting Armenians.
Taline has two sons, one of whom currently lives in Armenia.
